A STAR Minter is a privileged role within the Ouroboros ecosystem that simplifies the process of acquiring STARs for users. Instead of earning STARs solely through transaction taxes, users can choose to have the Star minter directly mint STAR.
How to Become a Star Minter?
Ouroboros will onboard STAR Minters based the following key metrics:
Hold at least 10,000 STARs
Paid over $10,000 in annual membership fee
When the number of eligible STAR Minters exceeds 100, roles will be allocated based on each participant's STAR holdings, with only the top 100 maintaining active status.
Privileges of a STAR Minter
Minting Revenue Receive a 1% fee on each STAR minted on behalf of users—creating a recurring income stream.
Daily Minting Limit Each STAR Minter can mint up to 10,000 STARs per day. This cap ensures balanced distribution of activity across all Minters, preventing monopolization.
